Students worked with a partner to choose a landform to learn more about. Each team came up with both fact and fact plus opinion questions about their topic. Then they chose three questions to research. Students found information in nonfiction books, encyclopedias, and an online resource called EBSCO. They took brief notes and then wrote a blog entry about their landform.
I found out that a Fjord is a long narrow winding inlet, or arm of the sea.
A Fjord is made by glaciers.
A fjord is so narrow because it is drown by the sea.
