Geysers by Alex and Seth
What is a geyser? A geyser is a spring.Geyser goes off when the gas gets to hot.The gas gets so hot and builds up and when the gas gets so hot it shoots up into the air. Some people think that it is water that shoots up in the air no it is not water it is gas that shoots up into the air. There is water underground that heats up to 250 degrees.
Geysers can be found in several parts of the USA, but one of the most important ones found in Yellow Stone National Park, which is in the state of South Dakota. If you go and see one there it will go off when the gas gets too hot.
