Swamps by Hayley and Danielle

         Do  you know what swamps are? Well lets start with  this question. What are swamps made of ?  Swamps are made of wet ground, shallow water over a muddy bottom.
       Do you know where swamps form? Swamps form in wide, open lowlands, along seacoasts, around ponds, lakes, and riverbeds.
       Do you know you how long swamps have exsisted?  Some swamps that we still have today have lasted for 10,000 years.
      What is the most famous swamp? The most famous swamp is the Dismal Swamp. It is in North Carolina,Virginia.
       What swamp is the biggest? The Everglades is the biggest swamp. It is in Florida, and it is 4,000 sqaure miles.
